Security and Institutional Capacity
Provide Security Training and Support: Equip SCAWO staff with comprehensive security training, focusing on gender-sensitive protocols, risk assessments, emergency response plans, and the protection of vulnerable populations in humanitarian contexts.
Enhance Data and Communication Security: Strengthen SCAWO’s data protection measures by implementing encrypted email systems, secure file-sharing platforms, and regular data backup procedures to safeguard sensitive information related to beneficiaries and programs.
Update and Contextualize Policies and Procedures: Revise and adapt SCAWO’s policies and procedures to align with current humanitarian standards, best practices, and the needs of displaced and vulnerable populations.
Facilitate Remote Capacity Building Initiatives: Conduct online professional certification programs and remote training sessions to enhance staff skills in humanitarian programming, emergency response, and community engagement.
